Noel Kinder, Nike’s Chief Sustainability took the stage with Sidney McLaurin of Material Impact Fund.
The Power of JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion)
Fern Mandelbaum of Emerson Collective led as moderator on an all-star panel featuring three founders on the topic of JEDI. Jasmine Crowe-Houston, Founder & CEO of Goodr, Elise Smith, Co-Founder & CEO of Praxis Labs & Maria Colacurcio, CEO at Syndio.
New School CVCs
We were lucky enough to hear from three of the new CVCs on the block, hosted by SVB’s Emma Eschweiler. Dave Kellenberger of SentinelOne Ventures, Matt Yalowitz of Stripe & Matt Sonefeldt of Atlassian Ventures all spoke on their growing pains and investing in startups when in many senses, you still are the startup.
Embracing Frontier Tech as a CVC
The final panel at Counter III touched on how some of the most progressive CVCs are embracing technologies such as crypto and the metaverse. Sapphire Ventures’ Rico Mallozzi moderated the panel featuring Coinbase Ventures’ Steven Willinger, Meta’s Peter Rojas and M12’s Michael Stewart.
